Designer Chemical Peels at Dandelion Medical Aesthetics are completed by our Nurse Practitioner in a medical environment. We exclusively use Lira Clinical™ acids and solutions for our chemical peel treatments as well as products for chemical peel preparation and recovery. Chemical Peels are recommended every 4-12 weeks depending on how aggressive each peel is and your skin concerns. Aggressive chemical peels require preparing the skin with home products for 2-4 weeks before the chemical peel may be completed. Peeling of the skin following treatment ranges from minor flaking for 1-2 days to total skin peeling over 5-10 days. While some chemical peel solutions are safe during pregnancy, others are not.
